Pioneer family; The Schneider's find their youngest daughter missing after several unexplained occurrences in their house in the woods. Malcolm goes searching for his daughter Saran but never returns home. Elizabeth, his wife distraught, hangs herself leaving her oldest daughter Naras alone.

For Act Two, the audience goes into the woods to pick up on the search for Saran where Malcolm left off.

When this production was presented, it was tailored as a fundraiser for a non-profit theatre company. The audience sat for the first act (this piece) and then went into the woods where they saw vignettes to tell act two. No lines or acting in the woods, only visual cues.
